MARCH FEATURED WINE

Anne Amie Pinot Gris

2008

Region: Oregon

Wine Notes: Pale white-gold in color, the wine enlivens the senses with aromas of citrus, crisp stone-fruits and wild flowers. The palate reveals impeccable balance and focus, bursting with bright lemon, grapefruit, and satisfying hints of cream soda that is followed by a clean, elegant minerality.  Finishing bright and refreshing, hints of candied green apples linger, making this Pinot Gris a delightful match to shellfish, herb-roasted chicken and fine cheese.

Listed as New York Times #1 choice Oregon Pinot Gris/ Pinot Grigio in a February 2010 article.

Bottle price:$16.00
Full case price:$165.00

MARCH FEATURED ARTIST

Etta Kostick

New to State Street Gallery, jeweler Etta Kostick was born into a family of glassblowers in rural Massachusetts.  Etta began working with glass by the age of seven and moving to Chicago, she began experimenting with stained glass and fell in love with it as a medium. She developed a fascination with the array of colors, textures, and the similarities between hot solder and glass in the ways it can be manipulated.  Combining rich hues and intricate solder work, her work possesses a bold juxtaposition of natural forms and industrial boundaries inspired by past travels and also the city she lives in.  Both the process and end product of each handcrafted piece is emblematic of the way Etta Kostick sees the world.

State Street Gallery is proud to carry Etta's beautiful stained glass creations.  We have a wide array of earrings and bracelets available ranging from $24-150.
