Molten glass is the medium I choose to work with because it is very responsive. Every movement of every second affects the glass. The glass blowing process is similar to dancing because I am always moving and responding to my partner, which is the glass. I graduated from Illinois State University in 2002 with a Bachelor's degree in art with an emphasis in photography and glass. I learned an enormous amount of knowledge from the glass professor, Jack Wax. He taught many glass processes such as glass casting, hot and cold blow molds, and vessel blowing. Currently, I just opened a hot glass studio in Fort Collins, Colorado where classes and demonstrations are available.
