Zak Jones is a co-owner of State Street Gallery. He is self-taught since the age of 6 and has been drawing and painting for over 25 years. "My visit to MOMA, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim, all in 3 days with my father, cemented my desire to be a great artist... to find my own style and live inside the medium."
Zak, among other styles, paints his own "labyrinthian style" with small lines uniformly related in size and color to depict ordinary and abstract objects. His sales of this and his thick impasto style have made him a favorite of SSG visitors and patrons alike.
